Sea Horse

The seahorse is an integral element used in treatments by TCM physicians. There is a Chinese saying, which embodies the significance of the seahorse in TCM medicine: "North is Ginseng and South is Seahorse". Seahorses are known to contain natural testosterone and are used to cure a variety of ailments including sexual dysfunction such as impotence and infertility. Other ailments include respiratory disorders such as asthma, circulatory problems such as heart disease, kidney, liver disease, throat infections, skin ailments, general lethargy and pain.
