Keemun Black Tea produced in Keemun County, Anhui province, is the gem of Chinese black tea.
The leaves are tightly rolled into thin strips. The tea carries a shinny lack color with gray hint that is traditionally called "Bao Guang (precious sheen)".
The leaves offer a high, rich and long sweet honey aroma with subtle orchid fragrance on the back.
The liquor is rich and bright that shows a orange-red color with a big shiny golden ring around the cup. It has an excellent clarity.
The texture is thick and smooth which slides down to the throat when drunk. The taste is unforgettable. The texture is thick and heavy and yet very smooth, mellow, and silky.
Its particular mature apple like fruity flavor runs all over the mouth and a thin but exquisite floral taste goes through the top of the mouth to the nose. The aftertaste is pleasantly long and refreshing.
Brewing Guidelines: 0.5 tbs tea per 20 oz 100 degree water for 2 minutes, for at least 5 infusions.
